Positive: I stayed in the Aurora Cabin and it was like a dream. Beautiful location, beautiful views, and so well equipped and comfortable. Beds are adjustable which is a massive plus when all you want to do is sit in bed and stare at the stunning bay. Massive bonus is the Bluetooth speaker system which i blasted music through every chance I got.Bathroom is small with a skylight, well stocked with products, and an excellent hot shower. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly, helpful, and responsive. I was always greeted with a smile and a hello and they were always more than happy to answer my questions (I am a solo traveler). Upon check in i was given a bag of snacks, 2 bottles of water and 2 sandwiches, which i thought was a brilliant and personal touch. A multitude of snacks and souvenirs are available at the lobby. The restaurant is excellent. Full breakfast spread, great light lunch options, and dinner was ALWAYS DELICIOUS. They also have a higher end restaurant that serves a more a gourmet and extensive tasting menu. There is a shuttle that comes very regularly that takes you to the center of town for 15Kr and its very convenient and easy. They have a live feed of the airport going at all times and have an airport shuttle that picks you up at the perfect time for your flight. They also have a Travel Greenland office on the premises which helps you if you need tours booked, etc. This was a once in a lifetime trip for me and Hotel Arctic was a massive reason for that.

Positive: The view we had in our one bed room apartment was phenomenal. The floor to ceiling glass at our balcony was absolutely stunning. The kitchen facilities for 2 person is more than enough. Large fridge, cooking essentials - you have everything you need. Theres also a washing machine in our bathroom which is very convenient.

Negative: Maybe the heating can be slightly stronger

Summary: Absolutely stunning once in a lifetime trip

Positive: Slightly away from town area, so less light pollution when observing Aurora at night. The glasses are clean so you definitely have a very clear view of the beautiful scenery around. Definitely recommend it, if you are looking to enjoy the view and Aurora in warm and cozy bed.

Negative: The chalet is slightly away from the main building, it would be nice if the hotel can offer help with the luggage + lead the way to the chalet.

Summary: Satisfied. Will definitely come back again

Positive: The rooms were lovely. Really good breakfast. Staff was friendly and flexible with check in/check out tribes.

Negative: When booking the room there was the option to pay 30€ more for the same room but with the airport transfer included. We asked at the reception about the shuttle, but ended up having to pay for the transport ourselves, including the 30€ we didn't get paid back. The hotel is not in the inner city, approximately 25 min walk.

Positive: The location is great, between the airport and the town, far enough from the city lights to enjoy the northern lights if you’re lucky enough to find good weather

Negative: The 99% of the staff on this hotel was very friendly, kind and professional. But there was this one guy, who was there at the time of our check out, he was not polite and not the most professional either, since he was leaned against the reception counter while talking to us. We asked for a late check out and he said no immediately. I understand they couldn’t offer us a late check out option, but the problem was how he said it. If you say no to a paying guest, the very least you can do is to say why and be respectful about it.
